Between 1926 and April 25, 1974, Portugal lived under a fascist regime, called "Ditadura", during witch anyone who showed a little discordance for the regime would be arrested, tortured and killed!
During this dark period of Portugal's story, every book, movie, song, text or any form of expression should pass through the censorship, to see if it had any trace of concept that would clash with the regime way of thought. It was called "política do lápis azul", the Blue Pencil Policy.
Seems like the Blue Pencil Policy is alive, even in the 21st century!!!
